The MAZ-545 is a semi-trailer tractor developed from the MAZ-537 in 1962 by the KZKT. It was updated multiple times along with its variant and was produced until 1977. It is easily distinguishable from its elongated cabin.
This model had a fifth wheel coupling and was intended to use in combination in order to make a road train.
With the MAZ-545 came the MAZ-545A which had an all-metal cargo-bed.
In 1970 both models received a second door on each side, allowing rear-row passangers to leave the cabin without folding front seats.
