KrAZ-257

The KrAZ-257 is a road truck designed by the KrAZ from 1960 to replace the KrAZ-219. It was produced from 1965 to 1977 and made into multiple variants until 1995. It also served as a base for the KrAZ-258 semi-trailer tractor and the KrAZ-256B dump truck.

The KrAZ-257S is a thermally adapted KrAZ-257 for use in polar conditions.

The KrAZ-257 was modernized in 1977 into the KrAZ-257B1. This final version was produced until 1994.
