==== Description ====
The __MAZ-545__ is a //semi-trailer tractor// developed from the **[[maz-537|MAZ-537]]** in **1962** by the KZKT. It was updated multiple times along with its variant and was produced until **1977**. It is easily distinguishable from its elongated cabin.

This model had a fifth wheel coupling and was intended to use in combination in order to make a road train.

=== 1969 MAZ-545A ===
With the MAZ-545 came the **[[maz-545a|MAZ-545A]]** which had an all-metal cargo-bed.
=== 1973 cabin update ===
In **1970** both models received a second door on each side, allowing rear-row passangers to leave the cabin without folding front seats.
=== 1976 cabin update ===
In **1976** a new armored cabin was developed. Headlights got their way in the bumper, and an armored panel was placed at the front.
